Built to protect, especially the youngest.

Safety notice for youth

Coach J is a digital mentoring resource. It does not replace a parent, teacher, counselor, clinician, emergency service, or other trusted adult. If a young person is not safe, or someone is hurting them, they should tell a trusted adult right away or call their local emergency number.

Minimal data for youth

The youth experience is designed to work with only the selected age band and session information. We do not require a full birth date, home address, school records, or other unnecessary identifying information. The selected age band is remembered so the user is not repeatedly asked their age.

Conversations stay on your device

Conversation messages within a mentoring session are stored locally in the visitor's browser on the device used — they are not synced across devices. A temporary, anonymous session reference is kept only while that browser session is open. Clearing your browser data removes the conversation.

Source integrity

The future Digital Mentor retrieves from approved Johnnie Williams III / Johnnie Mandela source material first. It never manufactures a Johnnie Mandela quote. Exact quotations are traceable to an approved source. AI-created synthesis is never presented as something Johnnie literally said. Outside information is not used unless specifically approved or required for safety.
